Soon Xiao Qi (b.2000, Ipoh, Malaysia) is a visual artist based in Singapore.  Their works are based on their heritage and the flow of migration. They are inspired by personal histories and experiences related to their socio-economic backgrounds. Their works aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia through different imagery. Their current practice also revolves around the exploration of playful speculative narratives, relooking and analyzing the objects related to citizenship.
