Soon Xiao Qi (b.2000, Ipoh, Malaysia) is a printmaker and visual artist based in Singapore. Their works are based on their heritage and the flow of migration. They are inspired by personal histories and experiences related to their socio-economic backgrounds. Their works aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia through different imagery. Their current practice also revolves around the exploration of playful speculative narratives, relooking and analyzing the objects related to citizenship and migration.
